HOME+WERK
Clearly defined admission policies and procedures for identifying and enrolling students into the
Work-Based Learning and Entrepreneurship Career Pathways, these
programs we deploy need to be established and implemented.
A comprehensive of MD STEAM Tools and curriculum,
provides orientation to the Work Experience in our
S.T.E.P
Students and Teachers | Employer and Parents
prior to enrollment.

STUDENT MUST MEET EXPECTATIONS:
Does Not Meet Expectation 1 Evidence Include all criteria from "meets expectations” in the online or offline MD STEAM Tools curriculum and its educational partnerships, plus the following:
Experience Counselors work cooperatively with HOME+WERK Coordinators and
students to ensure flexible scheduling for students.
The selection of students is based on attendance, discipline, teacher recommendations and
other criteria as established by the local system.
The HOME+WERK Coordinator personally interviews each student in UI
context prior to admission into the program.
An application process exists and is followed.
Written documentation of selection criteria is on file.
Students have completed or are enrolled in prerequisite course within MD STEAM Tools.
Before entry into the program we will engage alternative ways of meeting requirements into the HOME+WERK program.
There is a written policy outlining the minimum criteria for selection and admission into the program. Prior to enrollment, interested students, and their parent/guardians are required to attend an orientation that presents a
comprehensive overview of the school’s HOME+WERK program.
PERMISSIONS:
The admission process begins in each beginning semester to mid semester
NO ADMITTANCE to students with no documentation of selection criteria on file or
MD STEAM TOOLS SIGN UP: [proceed to sign up on Home Page]
NO ADMITTANCE to students who have not completed pre-requisite
MD STEAM Tools course, before entry into the program.
NO ADMITTANCE with no orientation is given for the work-based learning students.
There are no alternative ways of meeting requirements before entry of the HOME+WERK program.

ADMISSIONS:
1. Students process for admission into the HOME+WERK program during school lunch.
2. List of the selection committee members or educators at school and Community Partners join.
3. Documentation of completion of all prerequisites on the application of each student when complete.
4.Written policy permission for admission into the HOME+WERK program.
5. HOME+WERK basis student schedules for adjustment,.
6. Copy of agenda for the orientation for HOME+WERK students.
7. Students receive copy of materials handed out at the orientation.
8. Copy of sign-in sheets for students and parents/guardian
will be turned in by each week work is completed.
